About Me.
Chris Hinson is a multimedia artist, working primarily in printmaking. Hinson was born in Charlotte, NC in 1985. Within his artwork, Hinson uses traditional mediums such as ink and watercolor to create illustrations with an emphasis on fantasy and humor. He has studied art at several notable colleges and universities: University of South Carolina majoring in Graphic Design, Academy of Art University in San Fransisco majoring in Character Animation. He also attended Three Rivers Community College majoring in Fine Art and is currently attending University of Hartford with a major in Printmaking. Some of his artistic inspirations include Edmund Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Dr. Seuss, and Akira Toriyama. His work will be exhibited in his upcoming Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition in Spring 2026. He currently lives in New Britain, CT.
